Paving Refurbishment

Block paving restoration and patio cleaning is a simple process -

Step 1: Treat the entire block paved area with fungicidal wash to eliminate any algae spores and weed growths.

Step 1: The area is best cleaned first using a high powered rotary headed pressure cleaner to remove any weeds, algae and any grime that may have formed on the block paving since installation. Any patches of oil should also be treated and removed at this stage.

Step 3: Pure kiln dried sand should then be brushed into the joints of the paving to stop any lateral movement.

Step 4: We would then spray* Smartseal block paving sealer onto the block paving. This will provide lasting protection from the weather and general wear.

* Two coats of acrylic block paving sealant is sprayed onto the entire paved area to ensure each individual block and surrounding jointing sand is fully covered to provide the most protection.
